Wearing Many Hats: My Role as Founder of Rain Collective

When I founded Rain Collective, my vision was clear: to combat human trafficking and exploitation in the MENA region through awareness, education, and action. Over the years, this mission has evolved into a dynamic and multifaceted journey, and as founder, I find myself wearing many hats to advance our cause.

At Rain Collective, my role extends beyond leadership. I am deeply involved in shaping our strategic direction, building partnerships, and ensuring that our programs are survivor-centered and impactful. Whether it’s engaging with policymakers, mobilizing volunteers, or crafting initiatives that address the root causes of trafficking, my focus is always on sustainable solutions that create lasting change.

From developing educational resources to organizing community outreach programs, I work alongside a dedicated team committed to fostering a world free from exploitation. Collaboration is at the heart of our efforts, and we partner with local organizations, government agencies, and faith-based communities to amplify our impact.

One of the most rewarding aspects of leading Rain Collective is witnessing the resilience and strength of survivors who have overcome immense challenges. Their stories inspire our work and remind us why the fight against trafficking is so critical.

Balancing the various responsibilities of running an organization—strategy development, advocacy, fundraising, and program implementation—requires dedication and adaptability. It’s a journey that demands constant learning and resilience, but one that is incredibly fulfilling.
